Below is information for those who which to travel with fellow Beachcombers down to Daytona Beach, Florida for the Rolex 24.

The group will be leaving on the morning of Wednesday, January 24th at 7:30AM from Greenbrier Mall in the parking lot next to Abuelo’s Mexican Restaurant.  From there, they will meet other beachcombers the Truckstop on Route 58 around 8AM and to Emporia and then south on I-95.  They will stop at Buckee’s in Florence, SC and then onto Savannah, Georgia to spend the night at the Iris Garden Inn.  Hotels.com (here) has the Inn’s rates for this night (as of January 13th) at $72 for a single King room ($88 with taxes and fees) or a double room for $80 ($97 with taxes and fees).  These rates are fully refundable before January 23rd.  Information about the Iris Garden inn is here.  The hotel’s phone number is 912-777-5002.  The hotel’s address is: 347 Main St., Savannah, GA 31408.

The group will leave Savannah on the morning of Thursday, January 25th and head to Daytona Beach, Florida.  The group stay at the Lotus Boutique Inn & Suites located at 505 S. Atlantic Ave., Ormond Beach, FL 32176.  The group will check in on Thursday, check out on Monday, January 29th.  Beachcombers booked six rooms several months ago and here are the room allocations:

The group will check out on the morning of Monday, January 29th.  It is up to each to find their way home.
