SUMMARY:2024 Veterans Day Parade
DESCRIPTION:Join the Beachcombers for the Veterans Day Parade at the Oceanfront.  We’ll be limited to 10 cars.  This will be a rain or shine event.  Since I will be out of town\, Michele Suttle has graciously accepted to be the lead for parade. Thank you\, Michele! \nThose participating in the parade will meet at 8:00AM at the parking lot on the ocean side (east side) of General Booth Blvd across from the Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center which is located at 717 General Booth Blvd\, Virginia Beach\, VA 23451. Know the parking lot we meet at has no street address. The group will depart at 8:15AM and head north up General Booth Blvd to our staging location. The parade steps off at 9:00AM. Our staging location is on 15th St. between Atlantic and Pacific Ave.   For those wishing to attend a late breakfast/early lunch after the parade can decide where to go while staging. \nYou can RSVP/sign up below! \nHere is a list (by car) of Beachcombers who are participating: \n\nJeff Biggs and Michele Suttle\nTom Quicke\nTim Miller\nBobbi Agner\nJohnny Jones\nMack Coppage\nLV and Mike Torain\nDee Dee and Howard Hodges\nJim Cyr\nJay Vega\n\nHere are the list of alternate cars should any of the above cars not able to attend.  If needed\, you’ll be contacted: \n\n<Alternate Car #1> Ruth and Bill Baum\n<Alternate Car #2> Trudy and Denny Garland\n<Alternate Car #3>\n\nThis list will be updated periodically.  This list last updated on October 23rd.
