DESCRIPTION:Let’s get 40 Cars at “Corvettes at Carlisle”\nto celebrate the Beachcombers 40th Anniversary.\nAugust 25 – 27\, 2022\nThis fun filled Corvette weekend brings Corvette enthusiasts from across the country for what has been called the largest Corvette gathering in North America. \nOur Club is on the Carlisle Drop Down menu so you can register for the 2022 Corvettes at Carlisle\, be sure you register under the name Beachcombers Corvette Club of VIRGINIA. The fun field or show field tickets are $80.00. If you want to drive in the Saturday night Parade there is an additional $30.00 charge. Also the 20X20 tent will be provided with parking around it once we meet the 25-car requirement. No additional cost for those signing up. Those Club members who already have signed up for reserved parking will be included in the Club count if they email Jodi to identify as members of the Beachcombers Corvette Club of VIRGINIA. SUMMARY:IMSA Racing at VIR | Aug. 26-28
DESCRIPTION:Several Beachcombers are fans of the Corvette racing and watching them race in person is an exciting experience and great way to show your support for the Corvette Racing Team. For the past several years the Beachcombers have traveled to VIR to enjoy the company of Corvette Racing Team fans and to watch the race from the Corvette Coral. \nOnce again VIR has graciously agreed to donate two Corvette Coral ticket packages for the IMSA Race weekend to the Beachcombers as a money maker for our Club. These packages will be raffled off later in the year. Plans are forthcoming for securing a hotel in the area for those interested in making this a weekend trip. \nEach Corvette Coral ticket package has a value of just under $300.00. If you’d like to have a chance of obtaining one of these ticket packages at a cost of $150.00 this is what you need to do; add your name to the “IMSA Race at VIR Sign-Up Sheet”. You can add your name in person at the July Business Meetings or contact me and I’ll add your name to the list. Everyone who’s name is on the Sign-Up Sheet will be placed in a hat for a drawing and two lucky winners will be drawn at the July Board Meeting and the winners will be notified. \nWe have 10 rooms blocked at the Quality Inn Reidsville located at 2203 Barnes Street\, Reidsville\, NC for August 26 & 27. You can call them directly at 1-336-634-1275 and let them know you wish to book one of the rooms blocked under the Beachcombers Corvette Club’s name\, to get the discounted rate of $100.00 + tax.
