SUMMARY:Holiday Parade at the Beach
DESCRIPTION:The parade organizers have accepted our application to participate!  We are limited to 8 cars and all cars must be decorated (no political messages)!  The parade will be along Atlantic Avenue between 15th and 25th Streets.  The parade steps off at 5:30PM.  The acceptance e-mail states that no candy can be thrown or handed to spectators from within our cars and that we be staged on Atlantic Ave by 4:00PM.  Staging will be between 7th and 15th St on Atlantic Ave.  I’ve adjusted our meet time to now be at 3:30PM. I’ll be working with Michele to determine a meeting location and other details to possibly include dinner after the parade.  Michele Suttle will be leading this event.  Her cell phone is 757-287-7875.  Also\, I’ll receive additional information from the organizers next week (our unit# and exactly where we will stage on Atlantic Ave.) and will forward to Michele. \nOf interest… WSKY-TV (channel 4 on Cox Cable) will be recording the event.  Not sure when it will air.  We’ll just have to keep an eye on the TV schedule.  Also\, there’s the disclaimer that it will be edited for time\, but hopefully we’ll see our cars on TV! \nHere are the beachcombers who have signed up: \n\nLV and Mike Torian\nMack Coppage\nMichele Suttle\nDebbie and Jake Orbach\nKristie Hollingsworth\nAnthony DeLaura\nWoody Cohen\nSandy and Mike Pristas\n\nAlternates: \n\nTerrie and Kent Wagoner\n\nThis list will be updated periodically.  This list last updated on November 21st.
